Life Update
Lately, there hasn’t been much that’s new or exciting to share. I’ve been focusing on two main things:Life Update
Recently, life has been filled with a mix of challenges and transitions:
- Job Search: I’ve been actively searching for a new role after having to take a severance package and leave my job of 25 years. The adjustment has been tough, and the absence of that long-standing routine still weighs on me.
- Health Journey: Managing the persistent pain in my feet from diabetic neuropathy has been another focus. I’m currently in the process of trying to get a Nevro device implanted in my back, with the hope that it will bring some relief.
- Reflections on Turning 50: The approach of my 50th birthday has brought with it a lot of feelings. Frankly, it’s a bit scary—especially because I feel quite alone. I don’t have local friends anymore; the one friend I did have seems to have drifted away since losing my job.
- Coping with Loneliness: The sense of isolation has been growing, and it’s been hard to navigate. Despite all of this, I’m doing my best to push forward and face each day as it comes.
It’s been a period of big changes and a lot of introspection, but I’m hanging in there and continuing to look for better days ahead.
Thank everyone!
